To be clear, we have no affiliation with the Marina Del Rey board of directors. They do not consult on or contribute to any of the content on this website. In fact, the only formal communication we have with the board is through their lawyers. And their lawyers want us to tell you:

Zoom meetings have been connecting people since 2011. It’s proven technology that not only allows people who are located far apart to participate in live meetings, but it can also record the meetings for playback at convenient times. It’s free to meeting participants and affordable to meeting hosts.
If Marina Del Rey hosted board meetings via Zoom, every MDR owner and resident would be able to participate in board meetings, regardless of their location. For those who cannot attend meetings due to other commitments, they can play the recorded meeting to catch up on board meeting activities.
Additionally, owners and residents would get a timely, full board meeting experience, including nuance and context to the discussion.
